Clariant head of comms steps down

MUTTENZ, SWITZERLAND: Clariant announced its head of group communications Arnd Wagner decided to leave the company.

MUTTENZ, SWITZERLAND: Clariant announced its head of group communications Arnd Wagner decided to leave the company.

The global specialty chemicals company said in a release Wagner was “responsible for the communication around the restructuring and consolidation of Clariant” and with the “successful conclusion of that phase he decided to pursue other opportunities.” On an interim basis Ulrich Nies, head of communications region EMEA and deputy head of communications, will take over the position.

Clariant declined to comment further.
