I attended the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association's Leadership Conference last week in Philadelphia.
The event, I have to say, was a who's who of the top - and, some of the most interesting - companies in the healthcare industry, from Sanofi-Aventis to Kaiser Permanente to Diagnostics for All. And, given the range of attendees at the conference, I found it interesting to see how often the issue of communications came up, whether in sessions on personal and professional growth or in the sessions focused on innovation.
Eve Dryer, principal at Vox Medica, is a director-at-large for the association. Hear what she has to say about the role of communications when addressing issues in healthcare.
