BOSTON: Mobile media company Affle hired March Communications for US work on its cross-platform messaging app Pinch.
The annual contract for the work is at least six figures, said March VP Eric Seymour, who also leads the account. Several agencies were invited to pitch for the business.
The campaign for Pinch includes strategic consultancy, product reviews, event support, driving adoption rates, and establishing awareness of the product in the US. Affle's research and development headquarters is based in Singapore.
Seymour said the campaign has a two-pronged approach. One is product validation of Pinch in the US market. “We need to let everybody know that the app has value,” he said. And two, to promote the company behind the app to generate stories.
The account will be worked on by three people out of the agency's Boston office. Seymour reports to Affle marketing director Himanshu Verma.
