Burson-Marsteller opens Kuala Lumpur office

KUALA LUMPUR: Burson-Marsteller said this week that it had reopened an office in Kuala Lumpur.

KUALA LUMPUR: Burson-Marsteller said this week that it had reopened an office in Kuala Lumpur.

Joycelyn Lee, former acting GM and VP at Fleishman-Hillard, was named director and market leader for Burson-Marsteller Malaysia. She reports to Bob Pickard, president and CEO of Burson-Marsteller Asia Pacific.

The office is staffed by six consultants and focuses on corporate and financial services, public affairs and government relations, crisis and issues management, and digital. Burson, which said it plans to maintain its relationship with consumer marketing firm Essence Communications, previously had an office in Kuala Lumpur from 1973 to 1998.
