WASHINGTON: PhRMA named Chip Davis, an AstraZeneca executive who was brought in to handle the recent leadership transition at the trade group, EVP of advocacy. Davis reports to John Castellani, who was tapped as president and CEO of PhRMA in July, and is responsible for leading federal, state, and international government relations and advocacy. He is a former VP of corporate external relations at AstraZeneca.
PhRMA's EVP of government and public affairs Mimi Simoneaux Kneuer left the organization in April.
