Weber appoints Sinclair to global tech role

NEW YORK: Interpublic Group PR agency Weber Shandwick hired Heidi Sinclair as president of the firm's global technology practice.

NEW YORK: Interpublic Group PR agency Weber Shandwick hired Heidi Sinclair as president of the firm's global technology practice.

Previously Sinclair headed the marketing communications and philanthropic consulting firm Heidi Sinclair & Co. Before that she was chief communications officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and member of the foundation's management committee. She also had a stint as CEO for Burson-Marsteller in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Sinclair will lead Weber's global technology practice and be based in Seattle. She starts immediately, and reports to Weber Shandwick president Andy Polansky.
