Cody: What do you read to stay current with news and trends?
Bedrossian: At the very least, I consume The New York Times, The Times of London, "The Daily Show," and Twitter on a daily basis.
Ng: My generation loves mixing news with entertainment, so I get news from friends' Facebook postings, LinkedIn groups, and NPR's “Wait Wait Don't Tell Me”. I also read several books a month.
Cody: What made you choose PR?
Bedrossian: I started as a history major so PR never crossed my mind. It wasn't until I held a non-profit gig as a publicity intern and also became heavily involved in writing for my school's newspaper that I began considering PR.
Ng: Since I speak five languages, I figured I should capitalize on it by learning how to communicate more effectively. PR was a natural choice for me.
Cody: Do you think you'll be as successful as your parents?
Bedrossian: It depends how one measures success. Since I'm working towards a career in the profession I want to be in, I'm already successful. If I keep working hard, it can only get better.
Ng: My personal definition of success is having the freedom to keep learning and experiencing new things. I am confident I'll do just that because of the opportunities I've had to date.
