CHICAGO: Public relations tools and software business Cision released a media identifying application called WhereToPitch.
The tool, which is free, helps PR pros identify media outlets most likely to consider a story proposal based on keywords phrases. WhereToPitch searches a database of search engine traffic based on key words or phrases entered. Cision says the tool enhances SEO and reduces irrelevant story pitches.
After the search, the tool offers a list of links to the most relevant sites, and provides metrics on the reach and impact of those media outlets.
