LONDON: Kwittken & Company opened a London office, effective December 1, with which it expects to produce about $1 million in revenue within the first year, said co-founder Aaron Kwittken.
The office will support organic growth from four of the agency's US clients in the financial and healthcare industries, three of which are “US-based clients and have significant interests in Europe,” said Kwittken, though he would not disclose the clients.
“London is a great hub for us to be able to support Pan-Euro needs,” he said. “Right now, a lot of clients are multinational, and a lot of them are looking to us to help coordinate communications globally, even amongst other agencies they might be using in other regions like Asia.”
Client task work will reside in the UK but likely extend to Italy, France, and Germany, as well as other international markets as needed.
MDC subsidiary Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal & Partners acquired the agency this September.
“With the new MDC relationship, we were able to do this very quickly and get started over there,” he said.
The agency, which has appointed Caleb Hulme-Moir as MD of the London office – he was most recently head of corporate communications for Cass Business School, London – will initially exist within the offices of MDC's North Star Research.
Founders Kwittken and Jason Schlossberg said they expect to hire two more staff members in London at the account director and account executive levels.
