Private equity group hires Spain

WASHINGTON: The Private Equity Growth Capital Council tapped Ken Spain as VP of public affairs and communications. Spain, former communications director at the National Republican Congressional Committee, is expected to start January 10 and will report to Douglas Lowenstein, president and CEO of the council. He replaces Robert Stewart, who has been named SVP at public affairs firm TheWadeGroup.
