SAN FRANCISCO: Livescribe, the startup audio and computing pen maker, picked Bite Communications for North American media and analyst relations programs.
Bite will implement media relations campaigns and communications programs articulating Livescribe smartpens, which are described as paper-based computing. The campaigns will target the education industry.
Oakland, CA-based Livescribe did not return phone calls seeking more information on the account. The company already employs Bite for PR in Australia.
Founded in 2007, the startup has raised $92 million funding to date, including $39 million in Series C funding in September.
Bite VP Suzy Sammons will lead the account, and report to Livescribe director of marketing Eric Pettit.
