Ketchum's operations in China consist of five offices throughout China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The firm first entered the Chinese market in 1988 through a partnership with Newscan, which was founded in 1980 by Kenneth Chu and Betty Lo. Chu and Lo will continue as equity partners and will retain their roles as CEO and president, respectively. Jon Higgins, senior partner and CEO of international operations; Tom Harrison, president and CEO of diversified agency services; and Robert Lorfink, senior partner, COO, and CFO will now serve on the greater China operation's board of directors.
