White House to nominate LeCompte for Treasury role

WASHINGTON: President Obama said he planned to nominate Jenni LeCompte as the assistant secretary of public affairs for the US Department of the Treasury.

WASHINGTON: President Obama said he planned to nominate Jenni LeCompte as the assistant secretary of public affairs for the US Department of the Treasury. LeCompte has been the deputy assistant secretary of public affairs for the Treasury since January 2009. She previously served as deputy CEO of public affairs for the Democratic National Convention Committee and director of communications for the Recording Industry Association of America.
