NEW YORK: Four clients have joined Zito Partners, a newly formed strategic brand consultancy agency, with main offices in New York and New Jersey.

Zito Partners has signed on Prudential; The Hotlist, a social discovery engine; Contact Marketing Solutions; and Greco Nader & Associates, a NJ-based wealth management firm, for projects. Contact Marketing Systems is developing a green-friendly spray for produce to reduce E. coli and salmonella. Three of the clients have a one year contract and one client is for six months. Zito Partners declined to comment on specifics.

Zito Partners was started up by Bob Zito, who most recently served as CCO at Bristol-Myers Squibb. His 30-year career also includes EVP at New York Stock Exchange and VP of corporate communications at Sony Corporation.

Zito says the agency will cull information and practices from his former roles and help clients “go after issues at a time when companies are working to save money.” In addition, Zito Partners will collaborate with a number of other firms, who have select areas of expertise, including CN Communications, Ferrara & Company, First Protocol, Smith-Free Group and Straightline NYC.

Karina Correa-Maury will serve as partner at the agency. She was director at Topping Media, a NY-based boutique PR firm, specializing in financial services, media and non-profit sectors. In addition, Dick Grasso, former chairman of the NYSE, and Joe Grano, current chairman and CEO of Centurion Holdings and former chairman of UBS Financial Services, have joined Zito Partners' board of advisors.
