B&G Foods selects Allison & Partners following review

NEW YORK: B&G Foods selected Allison & Partners as its consumer AOR, following an informal review that began in late summer.

At the time, Jordan Greenberg, VP of marketing at the company, told PRWeek that the agency it selects will likely begin work on a project basis, but there's a possibility it could turn into an AOR relationship. 

According to a news release, the agency will support new product launches and brand extensions in 2011.

The company works with ICR on IR and corporate communications. Until now, the agency had also appeared as the IR and media relations contact on various press releases for consumer efforts.

In November, the company announced it acquired Sclafani and Don Pepino brands from Violet Packing. The brand portfolio of the food company includes Cream of Wheat, Las Palmas, Ortega, Polaner, and Emeril's, among others.
