Nissan shifts US comms roles

FRANKLIN, TN: Nissan promoted Paula Angelo to the role of director of corporate communications for Nissan Americas.

FRANKLIN, TN: Nissan promoted Paula Angelo to the role of director of corporate communications for Nissan Americas. Angelo, who joined Nissan in 2007 and is currently director of internal communications in the US, will be responsible for all corporate communications activities including manufacturing communications, philanthropic efforts, and crisis and strategic communications. She will report to David Reuter, VP of corporate communications for Nissan Americas.

The company confirmed that Gina Pasco, GM of global corporate and internal communications, will move from Japan to Tennessee to replace Angelo. 

The company also recently announced that Reuter was promoted to the VP role, effective Jan 1, from senior director, Nissan Americas, where he was responsible for ensuring alignment across the corporate, product, and internal communications functions in the US.
