BIO hires Lisaius to lead campaign initiative

WASHINGTON: The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) hired Ken Lisaius as a senior advisor and director of public affairs, with responsibility for leading the development of a new education and industry branding campaign.

WASHINGTON: The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) hired Ken Lisaius as a senior advisor and director of public affairs, with responsibility for leading the development of a new education and industry branding campaign.

Lisaius, who started January 3, reports to Jeff Joseph, VP of communications at BIO, and also has a "dotted line" of reporting to Jim Greenwood, president and CEO. He is a former deputy director in the office of media affairs at the White House.

It is a new position at BIO.
