SANTA CLARA, CA: Call center cloud-computing company LiveOps hired Burson-Marsteller as its AOR.
LiveOps director of marketing and communications Kristin Wahl co-led the search that began last November. She didn't issue an RFP for the work, but did consider ten agencies, five of which she heard pitches from. The work includes branding and messaging.
The Outcast Agency was the incumbent, and had worked with LiveOps for two years, Wahl said.
“There was a turning point in their business and our business,” said Wahl. “It was a natural progression.”
The Outcast Agency confirmed they previously worked with LiveOps, but was not immediately available for comment.
Wahl said she chose Burson-Marsteller for its depth of services and reach. Wahl declined to comment on the size of the account.
Burson-Marsteller US tech practice chair Jim Goldman is heading the account out of the agency's Silicon Valley offices, and will directly report to Wahl.
