Clear Channel Radio hires EVP, marketing and comms

NEW YORK: Former Hearst executive Wendy Goldberg was named EVP of marketing and communications at Clear Channel Radio.

NEW YORK: Former Hearst executive Wendy Goldberg was named EVP of marketing and communications at Clear Channel Radio.

Goldberg will lead strategic programs for the company's slate of brands in the newly created position, as well as handle internal and external communications, marketing of brands and products, b-to-b marketing support, and develop local marketing efforts. She begins her role immediately and reports to John Hogan, president and CEO of Clear Channel Radio.

Previously, Goldberg served as VP of business development and strategy for Hearst Entertainment & Syndication. She's also worked at Pilot Group, Six Flags, America Online, and AOL Time Warner.
