NEW YORK: Rachel Lyn Honig, former MD, was promoted to COO at G.S. Schwartz & Co.

As COO, Honig will be responsible for short- and long-term strategic, organizational, and financial initiatives at the firm. She will also continue to manage the agency's digital marketing and social media company Digital Power and Light.

Honig joined G.S. Schwartz & Co. in 1998. In her previous role as MD and operations/administrative partner, she headed up strategic planning, as well as PR programming development and implementation for a number of clients in the consumer goods and services, b-to-b, nonprofit, and professional/trade association sectors. Prior to joining the agency, Honig served under Governor George E. Pataki as special assistant to the chairman and director of special projects at the New York State Council on the Arts.
