PALO ALTO, CA: Connie Guglielmo has resigned from her VP of corporate communications post at Hewlett-Packard, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Guglielmo, a former technology reporter at Bloomberg, joined HP in September 2010.
Her exit follows a number of staffing changes that have occurred since Léo Apotheker, former CEO of SAP, replaced Mark Hurd as CEO of HP in October 2010. Last month, Michael Mendenhall, whom Guglielmo reported to, announced his resignation as CMO, and Bill Wohl, former VP of PR at SAP, was appointed to the newly created role of CCO. A search is underway for a new CMO. Also in January, HP replaced four of its board of directors.
HP declined to comment. The company reported its Q1 earnings today at market close.
