NEW YORK: ID Media hired Elaine Wong, former Adweek and Forbes reporter, as director of corporate communications, effective immediately.
In the newly creately ID Media role, Wong will expand the agency's profile through communication of its best practices, analytical insights, and trends that are shaping the media industry. She will report to Diana Bald, SVP and director of marketing, and Lynn Fantom, chairman and CEO.
At Forbes, Wong covered advertising, and oversaw the magazine's online section CMO Network. She also spent some time at AdweekMedia, writing for its publications such as Adweek, Brandweek, and Mediaweek.
