NEW YORK: Accor Global Sales North America, which operates more than 1,100 upscale and economy hotels, has tapped Robertson Solutions to handle its public relations efforts in the U.S.
The New York-based agency, which specializes in travel marketing and communications, will promote Accor as the company gears up to open an additional 300 hotels by 2015, said Debra Kelman-Loew, VP at Robertson Solutions, who will spearheading the PR efforts.
“We'll be targeting specific business media to talk about the expansion and create programs to increase [Accor's] visibility,” Kelman-Loew said. “The Accord name isn't really known.”
Accor's brands include Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Novotel locations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and economy chains Motels 6 and Studio 6.
