PRNewswire has begun to launch new products and tools left and right in an effort to leverage audience engagement.

PRNewswire has begun to launch new products and tools left and right in an effort to leverage audience engagement. This week, the service debuted a variety of social engagement tools to foster a more seamless integration of custom Facebook pages, and more.

The new Facebook tools provide companies and organizations custom tabs to feature key business areas, such as campaigns and products, to enhance their presence. In addition, companies now have the ability to share targeted, fan-only multimedia content, as well as launch special promotions, and interactive polling.

Other features include realtime posting of news release, Twitter feeds, and other multimedia assets. There's also a measurement tool for companies to track and monitor feedback on their Facebook page.

Last week, the service introduced a "My News" tool for the investor community, providing the ability to customize and save searches of news from publicly-traded companies. Meanwhile, PRNewswire is expected to announce another launch tomorrow.
