Ogilvy PR hires three to consumer, digital practices

NEW YORK: Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide appointed three new hires for its consumer marketing group and its recently launched 360 Digital Influence Group.

NEW YORK: Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide appointed three new hires for its consumer marketing group and its recently launched 360 Digital Influence Group.

Parris Bowe and David Hanon have joined the consumer marketing practice, as SVP and VP, respectively. Bowe's expertise spans marketing to women, CSR, entertainment and lifestyle, multicultural, social, and digital. She has worked with companies such as Procter & Gamble and Kraft. Bowe previously worked at Lippe Taylor, Edelman, and Sony Music Entertainment. In her new role at Ogilvy PR, she will report to Alyssa Garnick, EVP and the NY consumer marketing practice director.

Meanwhile, Hanon has worked in the technology space, most recently at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide. He's worked with companies such as Microsoft, HTC, Plantronics, Toshiba, and Amazon, where he led a launch program for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Ryan Aynes joins Ogilvy PR's recently launched 360 Digital Influence Group as VP. The eight-year veteran of digital and social media, previously served as director of social media at the JAR Group, where he developed its social media practice. Aynes has also worked at Mr. Youth, Fitango Inc., United for Good, and You Go Serve, Inc.

Over the last few months, Ogilvy PR's NY consumer practice has seen a lot of staff movement. Last month, Eric Slutsky, former consumer head, and Nicole Lowe, former consumer VP,  left the firm.
