The Food and Drug Administration has launched a redesigned Web page for its FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) to help implement the new law.

The new landing page for FSMA features a link to a new Web-based search engine for recalled foods and more than 50 FAQs about the landmark food-safety legislations, as well as videos and graphics explaining how the law will be implemented.

In addition, the online destination gives information about public meetings on these reforms, including the next public meeting on April 20 in Silver Spring, MD, which will focus on preventative controls. Those interested in attending are encouraged to sign up via the site.
