NEW YORK: Omnicom Group reported a 3.9% increase in global PR revenue for Q1, year-over-year, to $286.4 million. Organic PR revenue increased 1.9% during Q1.
Other Omnicom agencies include Fleishman-Hillard, Ketchum, and Cone.
In January, PRWeek reported that Omnicom's 2010 annual revenue from PR grew by 6.5% year-over-year, to $1.1 billion. In Q4, PR revenue was up 7.9% year-over-year, totaling $299 million.
The holding company's overall Q1 global revenue increased 7.9%, year-over-year, to $3.15 billion. Global net income increased 23.6% to $202 million, compared to $163.4 million in the first quarter of 2010.
