ITT CCO set to lead water spin-off

WHITE PLAINS, NY: ITT is expected to make structural changes in its communications department following completion of the spinoff of its Defense and Water businesses into publicly traded companies later this year.

WHITE PLAINS, NY: ITT is expected to make structural changes in its communications department following completion of the spinoff of its Defense and Water businesses into publicly traded companies later this year.

It is understood that ITT SVP and CCO Angela Buonocore will lead communications for the new Water company; David Albritton, currently VP of communications for Defense & Information Solutions, will lead communications for the new Defense company; and Jenny Schiavone, director of PR, will lead communications for ITT, which will remain a standalone engineered industrial company on the NYSE.

The executives will remain in their current roles until the spinoffs become effective and the changes in communications arrangements are subject to final approval from the board of directors at ITT.

Earlier this year, Buonocore told PRWeek, "We have to evaluate what the budgets are going to be and what the structures are going to be…Right now, we just have to work through the transition."

Currently, defense, commercial and business, and corporate all report to Buonocore.
