Euro RSCG Worldwide added five to its staff in 2010, bringing the headcount to 65. Staff turnover was 30%. Matt Donovan, chief strategic officer; Stacy Mackler, senior VP and CMO, and Beth Pagano, senior VP of consumer marketing, left in 2010.
Karina Meckel was promoted to replace Donovan. Ana Cano was named EVP, global brand leader for the Sears Holdings team.
Last month, Marian Salzman moved to a new role of CEO, PR operations, North America, bringing in her former colleague at Omnicom firm Porter Novelli, Lisa Rosenberg, to replace her as president.
Practice areas
The firm's practice targets consumer, healthcare, wellness, b-to-b, CSR, and fashion. Pharma, healthcare, and wellness showed the most growth in 2010, accounting for 40% of the agency's business, with key clients including Schiff Nutrition and Sanofi-Aventis' Lovenox and diabetes portfolio.
Business was evenly split between new accounts and organic growth. Key partners included Sears Holdings, Transitions Optical, and Yéle Haiti, a charity focusing on emergency relief, employment, and education. The agency is working with Haitian musician Wyclef Jean to promote it.
Financial performance
The firm ended 2010 with about $200 million in global revenue and 2010 US revenue increased by double digits, says Salzman.
The firm has started putting social media at the center of all its offers. "We injected pop culture and newsmaking into all of our business assignments," says Salzman.
