SAN FRANCISCO: Leyden Energy, a manufacturer of energy dense lithium ion battery products, has selected Schwartz Communications as its AOR. Work began in April and will be managed out of Schwartz's cleantech and green practice in San Francisco.
Schwartz helped the company with its recent launch and is now aiming to raise its visibility among strategic audiences and sectors including consumer electronics, electric vehicle manufacturers, and grid storage applications. Schwartz will be involved in all of Leyden Energy's PR, messaging, and corporate communications, and will also help develop content for the company's website.
“Energy storage is a really hot space and we are just excited to be involved,” said Jason Morris, EVP and cleantech practice leader at Schwartz.
Schwartz's growing cleantech practice works with about 25 clients and accounts for nearly 10 percent of the agency's yearly revenue. According to Morris, the practice is a huge source of growth for the agency and has nearly doubled in size each year since its launch in 2007.
The agency did not disclose the budget on the account.
