Cohn & Wolfe's North American corporate practice began working with 3M last month. Account work includes qualitative and quantitative market research, go-to-market strategy, brand positioning, communications planning, media and influencer relations, event planning, and digital strategy. Michael Bayer, EVP and corporate practice leader at Cohn & Wolfe said the agency will highlight 3M's software development capabilities.

"Our goal is to harness the power of these products to position 3M as one of the 21st century's leading technology innovators.”
Canavan declined to comment on the RFP process and the PR budget for the work.
