LG Electronics selects iCrossing as digital AOR

NEW YORK: After a competitive bid, LG Electronics selected iCrossing as global digital AOR for its global marketing office.

NEW YORK: After a competitive bid, LG Electronics selected iCrossing as global digital AOR for its global marketing office. The agency will partner with GIIR, LG's in-house agency, on the company's worldwide digital strategy. 

The account will be serviced out of iCrossing's new office in Seoul, Korea. Services will include media planning and buying, creative, and the development of social, mobile, and search programs and will focus on LG's innovation in the consumer electronics market.

In a release, Don Scales, president and CEO of iCrossing, which was acquired by Hearst last year, said the agency will work to help LG achieve its marketing goals by driving awareness across paid, owned, and earned media.

Earlier this year, PRWeek reported that LG Electronics' sister company, LG Display hired Hill & Knowlton as its global AOR. At that time, H&K and Ogilvy handled PR for LG Electronics under a global multi-agency team called “LG One,” and were in year two of a three-year LG One contract.

LG Electronics could not be reached for comment.
