The account will be handled out of Zeno's New York office with a multi-disciplinary health, consumer, and social media focus to include strategic and executional support of the foundation's scientific symposium. Zeno will also help build awareness of the life-threatening disease, and strengthen the organization's social media footprint.
The team began working with the group about two weeks ago, said Ame Wadler, MD of Zeno's healthcare strategy and planning. To start, Zeno is supporting the foundation's 6th annual Stride for Life race to raise money for science on August 14 in Southampton, NY.
"The Lung Cancer Research Foundation is really interesting in that they are one of the few organizations that is soley focused on providing funding for scientific research, which fits beautifully in the work that we do, " added Wadler.
The foundation joins other related Zeno clients, such as the American Urological Association Foundation, and the Lupus Foundation of America. Zeno, a Daniel J Edelman Company, also works with AstraZeneca, Bausch + Lomb, Clorox, Kia Motors America, Pizza Hut, Redbox, and Sears.
Deborah Walsh, executive director of the Lung Cancer Research Foundation, was not immediately available for comment.
