LONDON: Hill & Knowlton has hired Rishi Saha, former head of digital communications at 10 Downing Street, as regional director for Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and South and Central Asia.
The post, which is a newly created role at H&K, will be based in Dubai, where Saha will be responsible for heading up the agency's digital strategy, content, technical development, and communications. He will report to chairman Sally Costerton and Dave Robinson, CEO of Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and South and Central Asia. Saha will also work closely with Andrew Bleeker, H&K's worldwide digital practice leader.
In addition, Saha was recently appointed as head of digital communications for the British Prime Minister's office. There, he will work on the government's approach to online communications and public engagement.
