The contribution from the beverage brand will support scholarships and internships for Latino students pursuing careers in communications, journalism, and social media. PepsiCo will award 10 $2,500 scholarships to students studying either English- or Spanish-language media. In addition, the company will support five journalism internships at media outlets nationwide that specialize in covering topics important to the Hispanic community, such as health and education. To date, PepsiCo has contributed $100,000 to the association.

La Promesa de PepsiCo currently has partnerships with a number of Hispanic organizations, including the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility, and the League of United Latin American Citizens.
