Barbara Martocci, a member of TVA's news bureau staff, declined to comment on the incident, and referred to the press release.

Kim Greene, TVA's group president of strategy and external relations, will head up the communications team until an interim executive is named, according to the release. The utility company provides electricity to roughly 9 million customers, and assists state and local governments with economic development

Mould, who was unavailable for comment, joined TVA in July 2009 to head up its communications group. Prior to that, he had worked as an assistant administrator for public affairs at NASA. According to his LinkedIn profile, Mould also served as a senior policy advisor and special assistant to the secretary for the US Department of Energy between 2003 and 2005, and as VP of communications for PG&E Corporation.
