BOULDER, CO: Gorilla Logic, developer of customized enterprise tech application services, recently selected Catapult PR-IR as AOR.
The agency will work to drive awareness and develop a market-leading position for the tech company through a variety of PR initiatives, including media and analyst relations, and social media support.
Catapult will largely focus on thought leadership, while also placing an emphasis on positioning, messaging, and branding, according to Guy Murrel, co-founder and principal at Catapult.
Gorilla Logic chose to seek support after realizing it did not have enough internal bandwidth to handle all its PR activities. The company did not issue a formal RFP but did interview a number of agencies before making its selection. Gorilla Logic was impressed by Catapult's experience in the tech arena and its past work with high-tech clients.
“We needed a PR Firm that understood this space and the world we are working in,” said Debora Langer, senior director of sales at Gorilla Logic.
Prior to being formally selected as AOR, Catapult completed a three-month project involving PR support for the launch of Gorilla Logic's FoneMonkey5 product. Project-based work began in mid-February, while work for the year-long contract began in May.
Gorilla Logic and Catapult PR-IR both declined to disclose the budget for the account.
