Levine named senior counsel at Widmeyer

WASHINGTON: Widmeyer Communciations appointed Mark Levine as senior counsel, where he will provide strategic counsel and support to the agency's education, non-profit, philanthropic, and public affairs sectors.

WASHINGTON: Widmeyer Communications appointed Mark Levine as senior counsel, where he will provide strategic counsel and support to the agency's education, non-profit, philanthropic, and public affairs sectors.

Levine's work will predominantly be focused on the New York City metro area. He most recently served as the founding executive director of the Center for After-School Excellence at The After-School Corp.

Levine is also the 71st Assembly District Democratic Leader, and was a New York state senate candidate last year. Prior roles include executive director of Teach for America in New York, and founder of Credit Where Credit is Due, a community-based non-profit to help low-income residents in Upper Manhattan.
