NEW YORK: Chamberlain Healthcare Communications, a New York and London-based healthcare communications agency , today aligned under the Chandler Chicco Companies (CCC) umbrella.
The companies were previously operating as separate public relations brands within the inVentiv Health holding company. The realignment will allow both brands to better serve the global health and healthcare sector.
“There really is now 350 people looking at all the changes in healthcare and helping clients understand what they really need to do,” Bob Chandler, principal at CCC, said.
Chamberlain will continue to operate as an independent business under the CCC umbrella and Jonathan Wilson will remain in his position as president, reporting to Bob Chandler.
As Chamberlain continues to win new business globally, the realignment will allow the firm more opportunities to manage new business by tapping into the bandwidth and resources of the CCC network. Simultaneously, the CCC network will be strengthened by the addition of more than 60 science-savvy Chamberlain employees who each have a deep knowledge of complicated scientific issues, Chandler explained.
“I like being able to tap into great minds that understand the nuances of science,” he added.
The companies will likely assess RFPs and pitch business individually, but will consider joining forces for new opportunities in situations where it makes sense, Chandler said. He added that from a market standpoint, the realignment will strengthen both sides.
