CHICAGO: Following its acquisition by Olson in December, Dig Communications has officially been renamed Olson.
Since its purchase late last year, Dig has served as Minneapolis-based Olson's Chicago PR branch. The official renaming will serve as a further step toward fully integrating Dig into its parent company's operations.
Some of Olson's major PR clients brought over from the Dig acquisition include MillerCoors, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, Southwest Airlines, Harley-Davidson, and PepsiCo.
Dig founder Peter Marino will continue his role as president of Olson's PR practice.
At the time of acquisition, Marino told PRWeek that Dig's revenue was on track to reach $7.5 million in 2010, with 14 percent annual growth independent of Olson.
