BOSTON: MSLGroup has hired Anne Erhard as SVP of its cause marketing and CSR practice, based out of the agency's Boston office.
Erhard will focus on cause-related business and thought leadership in the New England area and across the company's global network. She will be working under Scott Beaudoin, who formerly held the SVP position and has been promoted to director of cause marketing/CSR for North America.
“I think MSLGroup's commitment to purpose-led marketing for huge brands lends itself to creating cause extensions that fit well with the brand and make so much sense in consumers' minds,” Erhard said. “I'm really hoping to round out the cause marketing and corporate responsibility work that they do.”
She will lead a team of four to five staffers in Boston, where the CSR practice is based, with additional resources from New York, in developing cause-based marketing initiatives for clients such as Kellogg's and Procter & Gamble.
“That's what I'm really excited about: having an impact on some of these global brands that touch consumers every day,” she added.
Erhard joins from Cone, where she gained eight years' experience in CSR-related work. She has also worked in cause-related marketing for the Boston-based Constant Consulting Group.
