SUNNYVALE, CA: Juniper Networks confirmed that it is in the process of switching agencies from Weber Shandwick to Edelman.

As Juniper transitions to a global one-agency model, Edelman will serve as global AOR.

“The firm has outstanding technology expertise and a deep bench of senior leadership,” said David Shane, VP of global corporate communications at Juniper Networks. “Weber Shandwick has been a strong partner to the company over the past few years, and we have the highest respect for the firm.”

Shane declined to disclose further details about the change, but did note that the transition is fully underway. As Juniper's US AOR prior to the change, Weber handled integrated PR services, including strategy, digital, mergers & acquisitions. It also worked with some of the company's European agencies.

Weber Shandwick and Edelman declined to comment.
