LONDON: Edelman has promoted Jackie Cooper, UK creative director and vice chair of the agency's UK business, to global vice chair of brand properties.
Cooper will now be responsible for developing new products, concepts, and relationships in connection with brand, content, and partnerships. She will also bring along her expertise in the transmedia space, a type of "storytelling" that is delivered across multiple platforms and formats.
Cooper joined Edelman in 2004 when the agency acquired JCPR, a business she co-founded with Robert Phillips.
Edelman also recently hired the BBC's Ed Williams as the new CEO of its UK business. Williams joins the agency in October and will report to Robert Phillips, CEO of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
