WESTPORT, CT: Abelow PR has won the account for the Saint Barts Tourism Committee after an RFP process involving two other agencies.
The agency will be using traditional outreach, such as print media, events, and television, to increase awareness about the island among US travelers. As of now, the Tourism Committee does not plan to use social media in its PR efforts.
“Our goal is to get the point across that Saint Barts is affordable during the off seasons and it's a very desirable time to visit weather-wise, so it makes what's considered to be a very expensive and exclusive island more affordable to many people,” said Lorraine Abelow, owner of the agency.
Abelow PR was also recently hired to represent the Most Perfect View Hotel Collection. Other Abelow clients include Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts-Worldwide, and Trump International Hotel and Tower.
