He will be responsible for providing media relations counsel to clients in the agency's public affairs and corporate communications practices.
Arnold began this week and is based in the agency's New York office.
“He brings invaluable experience to our firm and our clients,” says Michael Kempner, CEO of MWW Group. “His work in catapulting a politician with a primarily local audience to one of the most high-profile members of Congress in the country is just one proof point of the talent that he brings to our agency.”
He was hired for his in-depth communications experience across a variety of verticals, including politics, media and digital, as well as his strategic media relations experience dealing with national and international media outlets and the New York and Washington press.
In Arnold's most recent position working for Rep. Weiner, he oversaw strategic messaging, media outreach, and issues management for the congressman.
Previously, he worked in the press office of former NYC councilman Eric Gioia during his 2009 bid for public advocate. Earlier, he wrote a column on political and youth issues for the Wisconsin State Journal.
