WPP Digital acquires Rockfish Interactive

NEW YORK: WPP Digital, the digital investment arm of WPP, has acquired Rockfish Interactive, an Arkansas-based digital marketing agency.

NEW YORK: WPP Digital, the digital investment arm of WPP, has acquired Rockfish Interactive, an Arkansas-based digital marketing agency.

Rockfish, which was formed in 2006, works with clients such as Walmart, Sam's Club, Cisco, Procter & Gamble, United Health, EA Sports, and Tyson Foods. The company employs 150 people and has offices in Rogers, AR; Little Rock, AR; Dallas; and Cincinnati.

“Rockfish is a fantastic addition to the WPP Digital family,” said Mark Read, CEO of WPP Digital, in a statement released Friday morning. “Kenny Tomlin [CEO of Rockfish] and his team have built a smart company that understands how technology is changing communications and business. Its work demonstrates how it can apply this to drive innovation for clients. We're delighted that under Kenny's leadership we will be continuing to develop the Rockfish brand and helping the team maintain the rapid growth it has shown since starting in 2006."

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
