Tyre joined the firm last month. She was hired to provide her experience with litigation and crisis communications and to bolster the agency's expertise in litigation communications in New York, said Jano Cabrera, chair of Burson's issues and crisis group.
“What we're seeing in the marketplace is that litigation communications is playing a larger and larger role, which requires companies like us to have larger bandwidth to address it,” he said.
While SVP at Ketchum, Tyre provided strategic issues management and crisis communications counsel to help clients manage complex, high-profile communications challenges. Her experience in the sector spans a range of issues and situations, including data breaches, product recalls, congressional hearings, and corporate litigation.
Tyre worked at Ruder Finn before beginning her 15-year stint at Ketchum, where she started in the healthcare practice before moving to the firm's issues and crisis group.
