ST. LOUIS: Fleishman-Hillard has hired Richard Dale as SVP, senior partner, and director of strategic account planning for North America, a newly created position at the firm.
Dale will be responsible for developing a proprietary strategic client-planning process. He will work alongside Fleishman's North American regional presidents, general managers, practice group leaders, and client-relationship managers.
Dale will be based in the firm's New York office and report to Steve Hardwick, president of the Eastern region, and Jack Modzelewski, president of the Americas.
Previously, Dale worked at ad agency Leo Burnett in Asia for more than six years. He began working there as a director of strategic and engagement planning for the agency's Asia-Pacific operations, and most recently he served as chief planning officer of Leo Burnett Group China. There, he worked with clients such as Bacardi, BMW, Coca-Cola, Fiat, McDonald's, Siemens, and Pfizer.
Dale has also worked at ad agencies Bates, Wieden & Kennedy, and Deutsch.
