LONDON: Council of PR Firms, Institute for Public Relations, and the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication have formed a coalition that aims to define, develop, and promote standards for social media measurement.

The group will work to break down the barriers of social media measurement and create standards that address significant social media challenges, including content sourcing, sentiment, engagement, influence, and ROI, building on prior work and initiatives put forth by the three associations.

Aimed at open collaboration, the coalition will work to engage additional industry organizations and client associations as supporters and contributors.
