Scott Beaudoin leads MSL New York's Beyond Purpose Group focused on working with tomorrow's leaders to co-create platforms, programs and partnerships that not only deliver on purpose but fuel participation and profits. The group is grounded in purpose-inspired brand building where Scott and his staff of 20+ help brands and companies elevate beyond purpose-driven table stakes. Scott also oversees the agency's North America Cause Marketing and CSR specialty team of 5 which is leveraged when the assignments require a Cause Marketing or CSR strategy.
Beaudoin is an award-winning communications veteran with more than 15 years of experience in helping build brands by finding the intersection of consumers' passions & beliefs and a brand's purpose & benefits to amplify brand equity, sales and “soul.” He is a thought leader in the shifting mindset from marketing to “serving” through products and offerings that bring people together, build communities and connect to a greater purpose in the world.
Beaudoin has worked closely with some of the world's most well-known brands and companies including P&G, Pfizer, Sodexo, Kellogg's, General Mills, ConAgra Foods, Wrigley, CVS/pharmacy and others in co-creating strategic purpose-led marketing communications platform including such notables as Crest Healthy Smiles, Tampax/Always Protecting Futures, Dawn Saves Wildlife, Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives, General Mills Box Tops for Education, ConAgra Foods Feeding Children Better and CVS/pharmacy All Kids Can campaigns.
Through his work, Scott has received top industry honors including: 2007 PR News Corporate Social Responsibility Award, 2003 PR News Platinum Award for Cause-Related Marketing, 2003 Cause Marketing Forum Best Social Service/Education Campaign, 2002 Crystal Obelisk Award for Social Responsibility, 2001 PR Week Campaign of the Year and 2001 Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil.
Scott holds a communications degree from Arizona State University and spent five years as a Rocky Mountain Emmy award-winning reporter, anchor and producer early in his career.
